The Nat "King" Cole Trio
After disbanding The King Cole Swingers, Nat "King" Cole married dancer Nadine Robinson in 1937 and promptly moved to Los Angeles, where he formed The Nat "King" Cole Trio. The trio consisted of Cole on piano and vocals, Oscar Moore on guitar, and Wesley Prince on upright bass. The trio played in Los Angeles throughout the late 1930s and recorded a prolific amount of material together.
